Outside of all of the offices we do provide home visits for our clients who cannot access the office. Home visits also include visits to you in the hospital or at a residential care home.

Initial Contact and Appointment Setup
– Requesting a Home Visit: You can request a home visit by contacting our office via phone, email, or an online form. During this initial call, the solicitor or our support staff will discuss the nature of your legal matter, whether it’s for wills, probate, powers of attorney, or other legal services, and arrange a suitable date and time for the visit.
– Confirmation: Our office will confirm the appointment in advance and provide details such as who will attend, what documents to prepare, and any identification needed to verify your identity.
Preparation for the Visit
– Documents and Information: Before the visit, you may be asked to gather specific documents (e.g., ID, existing wills, property deeds, financial information). The solicitor may also provide you with a brief questionnaire or outline the topics to be discussed so the visit is as efficient as possible. This will depend on the solicitor visiting you and how they wish to conduct your visit.
– Location and Comfort: The solicitor will meet you at your home or another agreed location (e.g., a care home or hospital). They will ensure that the setting is comfortable and private enough for confidential discussions.
The Home Visit
– Taking Instructions: During the visit, the solicitor will take your instructions for the legal work required.
